Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) may affect up to 30% of cats over the age of 10 years*
The new ROYAL CANIN® Renal Detect tool on Vet Services has been created to help you predict if your feline patient is at risk of developing CKD within 12 months.
Renal Detect will provide you with an individualised approach on which senior patients to target with more regular monitoring.
HOW TO USE RENAL DETECT?
1. Log in to Vet Services and select ‘Renal Detect’
2. Create a profile for the pet and enter the level of Blood Creatinine, Blood Urea and Urine Specific Gravity
3. The level of risk will be displayed. Select the nutritional recommendation and the daily ration will be automatically calculated
4. You can then print or email the recommendation letter to the pet owner and save the visit information so you can monitor the patient’s health
LOG IN TO VET SERVICES TO ACCESS RENAL DETECT
If you do not have a Vet Services account, you will require your Royal Canin Vet ID number and the main practice email address for the initial/first registration**
Renal Detect has proven to increase feline visits to vet practice by as much as 31%
